Help kickstart our Urban Shade Forest in Ipswich!
Come along and join CVA and Ipswich City Council as we breathe life into the Small Creek corridor, and create our first Urban Shade Forest in QLD! Whether you're new to the joy of planting or are a seasoned planting pro, we welcome you to help make the Ipswich region greener, cooler, and full of life. Each seedling you plant not only creates shade and cools our cities, but helps to create a lively habitat for our native friends. Feel the connection with nature as you boost biodiversity within our cities, while improving your own wellbeing and create a renewed sense of community. Help us rebuild biodiversity – and our Urban Shade Forests – in Ipswich. Every small effort counts, and your contribution matters! Our friendly team will be there to share their knowledge and guide you. And don't worry, we've got all the tools and equipment you need on the day. We'll be running events at this site from August - December 2025. Find out more via: https://conservationvolunteers.info/USFIpswich Registrations are essential, so don't miss out. Got any questions?
