Ipswich City Council

Join Ipswich City Council and Llewellyn Toyota along Bundamba Creek and help put over 1,700 native plants in the ground. Let us help you and your family to become environmental stewards of this part of Bundamba Creek. This planting activity will help to improve water quality and increase habitat for local native fauna. Habitat Connections is a strategic waterway rehabilitation program which aims to restore degraded riparian corridors throughout Ipswich and increase their resilience to erosion and flood damage. This event is proudly supported by Llewellyn Toyota. Important Information: The planting activity includes loose and sloping surfaces and is near shallow waters. The activity requires a reasonable level of fitness and balance. Children must be supervised at all times. Please bring a hat, a water bottle and wear enclosed shoes. Gloves and hand tools will be provided.
