Sunshine Reserve Conservation group

Join us for a meaningful day of connection and care for Country at Sunshine Reserve. We are honoured to welcome back Uncle Lionel, Living Culture to open with a Smoking Ceremony (bush cleansing), grounding our work in respect for culture, community and the environment. This year, thanks to generous support from Hop Nation, we sharpen our focus in Upper Sunshine, where we are working to strengthen and reconnect important habitat areas. Together, we aim to plant aprox. 1,000 native grasses, shrubs and trees to suppress weeds, improve biodiversity, and create healthier habitat for local wildlife. Our objective is to build long-term resilience by restoring native vegetation and encouraging community stewardship of this special place. All ages and skill levels are welcome.
