Dune vegetation is important, not only is it critical in reducing erosion and sand lost during high seas, winds and storms, dune vegetation is also an important component of regional biodiversity - providing habitat and food for native flora and fauna. Plants provided for the sites are currently being grown by our environmental volunteers at our Erina Depot Nursery and will contribute to preserving our local natural environment.
