VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

Soup and sandwiches will be available at lunchtime, but feel free to supplement with your own supplies! Afternoon tea will be provided as we celebrate a great day's work! Please bring the following with you: your own filled water bottle (it can be refilled on site as needed) and Keep Cup if possible; your own food and refreshments to supplement the soup and sandwiches provided; your own gardening gloves and tools if you have them (we have plenty of tools and gloves for volunteers to borrow but would appreciate people bringing their own if they have them to ensure that we have enough for everyone!). Come appropriately dressed for ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS - the weather can be very changeable in this part of the Fleurieu Peninsula. Wear long pants, long sleeves and bring layers. Bring a weatherproof outer layer and a woolly hat. Decent, enclosed footwear is ESSENTIAL - ideally gumboots, workboots or walking boots. Bring a change of footwear for your journey home and a bag for your dirty boots - they will be very muddy! Parents and guardians are respectfully reminded that they are responsible for the safety of their children on site.
