National Tree Day Community Planting at Bruce Richardson Park, Balldale
Join Corowa District Landcare, Our Town Balldale and Federation Council for a fun and rewarding community tree planting day. Together, we’ll plant a diverse mix of native trees, shrubs and groundcovers to help strengthen and enhance our local environment. This is an inclusive event for all ages and abilities, and everyone is warmly welcome to attend. As part of the day, guest speaker Professor David Watson from Charles Sturt University will present “The Good Earth: Farmland is Crucial for Safeguarding Wildlife in a Warming World”, exploring the important role farming landscapes play in supporting biodiversity and resilience in a changing climate.
