National Tree Day at Yarran Dheran Nature Reserve

Yarran Dheran is a bushland reserve in Mitcham. With theMullum Mullum Creek running through it and with the celebrated bushland of the Mullum Mullum Valley, it provides habitat for a range of birds and wildlife not usually seen in an urban reserve. However, in its lifetime it has also been the site of a quarry and of the Mitcham Municipal Tip. National Tree Day supports our objectives to revegetate and to improve and maintain habitat for our wildlife.

DIRECTIONS

Enter the Yarran Dheran Nature Reserve from Ashburton Drive Mitcham 3132 and walk through the carpark to meet at the Information Centre

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

Bring water for yourself and don't forget sun protection! Wear enclosed footwear and while we have gloves, most people prefer to bring their own. Join us for a sausage sizzle at the close of the event
