Maribyrnong City Council is committed to increasing vegetation in the municipality as part of our Nature Plan 2035 National Tree Day is a keyway our community can play a part in helping create more habitat for wildlife and for community to enjoy.

DIRECTIONS
Maribyrnong City Council is proud to be supporting National Tree Day again in 2026. Help us plant approximately 6,000 native plants at Braybrook Park to increase habitat for wildlife. Community members of all ages are invited to attend and will be provided with a free coffee cart and BBQ lunch for their efforts. Younger community members can enjoy a free wildlife show and face painting on the day. an initiative by Planet Ark, is an opportunity for local residents to connect with other community members and spend time in nature.
